Advocating for responsible development that balances growth with infrastructure needs—while ensuring Rockwall schools thrive, maintaining public safety, and keeping tax rates low—is key to planning for Rockwall’s future. Additionally, partnering with the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation will be vital in attracting new businesses and creating good-paying jobs, helping ease the tax burden on Rockwall families.

Better Roads & Less Traffic Congestion

Rockwall’s growth has outpaced its infrastructure—primarily due to rapid regional expansion, which has worsened traffic challenges. While our city’s comprehensive plan serves as a strong guideline for growth, adapting it to current conditions will help ensure responsible development and strategic road improvements. By working with city planners and TxDOT, I will push for timely infrastructure upgrades while ensuring impact fees from development are used efficiently for road maintenance and expansion. Rockwall families deserve a smart, forward-thinking plan that eases congestion and improves daily commutes.

Prioritizing Public Safety

Our first responders are amazing! One of the few things government does well is providing for the protection of its citizens—that is what our Founding Fathers intended. To ensure Rockwall families are safe at home, at work, and at play—and that our children remain safe at school—I will make sure our police officers and firefighters have everything they need to keep Rockwall one of the safest cities in Texas.

Reliable City Services

Fixing potholes, collecting trash, and providing clean water may not be glamorous, but they are essential services the city of Rockwall provides every day. I will work with our dedicated city staff to ensure these services remain uninterrupted, giving you peace of mind as you go about your daily activities.
